1. Service Description

Manny is a macOS application that uses AI to extract and format article text from web pages. The service is provided by Manny ("we", "us", "our").

2. AI-Generated Output

Manny uses artificial intelligence to extract article text, headlines, and metadata from web pages. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all extracted content before sharing, publishing, or relying on it for any purpose.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-extracted content. Manny is a productivity tool, not a substitute for reading the original article.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Review all extracted content before sharing or publishing
• Comply with applicable copyright laws when using extracted content
• Keep your license key secure and do not share it
• Use Manny only for lawful purposes

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Manny is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted content will be accurate or complete.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in extracted content
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
• Any action taken based on AI-extracted content

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

7. Trial

The free trial lasts 3 days and is limited to one trial per device. After the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using Manny.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Manny after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
